I've sent e-mails to the Ministry for Information and Broadcasting, DoorDarshan, and to someone at the ETV network; in all cases, I've requested them to broadcast short messages on how to protect oneself and one's community from terror attacks and on general safety and preventive measures.
I haven't heard back from any of the parties...let's see what happens. Shall keep everyone posted on that front.

The HR representatives in some companies have contacts in the press. We could try and see if they can get us introduced to one of these people you have emailed. That might help quicken the process.
the problem with corporates is that they do not want to be involved in anything that sounds remotely political...i tried that angle once.
maybe one of you could try and see if the response is any different.
in the meantime, do check cnn ibn's CJ corner. quite interesting...
